Artist Membership
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Gallery Calapooia artist community.
Though we currently have a full slate of 21 artists, we continue to accept applications regardless of whether we have an immediate opening.
Artists, particularly those creating three-dimensional artwork, are welcome to apply.
If you choose to apply to become a member of Gallery Calapooia, please read our membership and application information and then fill out the form below.
We will contact you for an interview if we think you would be a good fit for us.
Some of the basics of being a member artist at Gallery Calapooia:
$170 one-time membership fee
$60/month dues (first and last month’s pre-paid at acceptance)
Artists typically work two, 4-hour shifts each month, or a single full-day Saturday shift
Participation on at least one committee
Annual opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors
Artwork sold on consignment basis: 20% of sales to gallery; 80% to artist
