Marjorie Kinch

GC - Marjorie Kinch - Silent White

As a child, Marjorie used any materials she could get her hands on to create paintings and drawings.  She entered her first photography contest at age 12.  Her paintings graced the walls of relative’s houses.

“Painting and Photography are both meditation for me.  Both are a way to express my feelings, a way to process what’s going on around me, and a way to be in the moment.  They both connect to my soul and through them I pass on to others a small piece of my heart.”  Marjorie loves the fluidity and sparkle of watercolor, her favorite medium.  It stirs the celebration of life within and gives her great satisfaction and joy.

Marjorie is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, Signature member of the North West Watercolor Society, Mid Valley Photo Arts Guild, Corvallis Art Guild, and Vistas and Vineyards, a plein-air painting group.

Her paintings and photographs are in private and corporate collections in the U.S., Canada and Europe and her work has been featured in national publications, as well as winning awards.
