Most art galleries like ours will have multiple artists working in the same medium, but you might not expect that medium to be cut paper! Both Melissa Babcock Saylor and Nancy Anderson create works extensively with this very fun technique, and the things that they create can best be described as just that – fun!! Also bright, vibrant, cheerful, playful, … well, you get the idea! Often created from papers that the artists first painted with acrylics or watercolors, these works are painstakingly assembled from many, many pieces. They are simply a wonder to look at, whether a large original work, an illustrated book, or a very unique greeting card!
