My passion for the last 10 years has been in fused glass, but prior to that I worked in stained glass.  Working with fused glass media has afforded me to break free from the restrictions of stained glass.  Your pallet can become smaller and more intricate, to create something with more depth and feel.  Just over a year ago I purchased a water jet to cut impossible glass shapes.  With this tool and my mechanical engineering background I can explore new boundaries, only limited by my imagination.  I try to use the contrasting colors in glass to bring out the boldness in my designs.  I also use the properties in glass to give me the reactions and interactions when fired in a kiln.  My designs range from nature scenes to geometric patterns and from hanging art to functional bowls.
