Our two glass artists, Steve Terhune and Carol Houk, have had a familiarity with each other’s work for years, since they are partners not just in employing a millenia-old art form, but also in life! Steve’s background as an engineer brought him to adapt new technologies such as a water jet to cut glass to his exacting (and often complex) artistic vision. Carol’s work reflects both traditional stained glass techniques, as well as layered “frit glass” pieces that must be seen up close to be appreciated!
