Many people were fascinated by the colorful work of Michael Linstrom, the presenter for the Corvallis Art Guild for September. In this mini workshop, Michael will demonstrate his personal approach to starting a painting which he calls “Dark, Light, Neutral & Bright”. Following a lecture and demo, participants will have the opportunity to paint from photos, supplied by the instructor. While Michael will be painting in oil, artists may use another medium. Michael Linstrom is a new artist in our midst, recently settling in Albany after a career of painting and teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area. He plans to offer private instruction in his home as well as the occasional painting workshop. Noted as a colorist, he has an exhibit at the Pegasus Gallery in Corvallis during September.
